Serving Others in Our Community
At St. John's Temple, we believe that spiritual growth is a lifelong journey best taken in community. Whether you’re just beginning to explore your faith or looking to deepen your walk with Jesus, there’s a place here for you to grow. Through Bible studies, small groups, children and youth programs, and practical teaching, we create space for every person to ask questions, build relationships, and take the next step in their faith. No matter where you are on the journey, you don’t have to walk it alone.

Community Care Ministry
Community Care Ministries provides meaningful support to seniors in long-term care and retirement homes. Through regular visits and ministry presence, this outreach offers connection, encouragement, and compassionate care.
These services reflect The Salvation Army’s mission to share the love of Christ through practical support, relational presence, and genuine connection.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Our Prayer Shawl Ministry is a meaningful expression of care within our Craft & Chat group. Each shawl is lovingly handcrafted and prayerfully prepared by members of the group, with every stitch woven in faith.
Though the recipient is often unknown at the time it is made, each shawl is created with the prayer that this simple act of service will bring comfort, peace, and encouragement. Shawls are given to celebrate the birth of a child, to support those who are sick or shut in, and to uplift individuals and families walking through difficult seasons.

Emergency Disaster Services Team
At The Salvation Army St. John’s Temple, we are committed to serving our community in times of crisis. Whether supporting individuals experiencing vulnerability, providing a welcoming presence at community events, or responding to large-scale emergencies, our volunteers work alongside Emergency Disaster Services to meet needs wherever they arise.
